Summer School 2008
The Urban Choice Charter School is offering an intensive four-week English Language Arts and Math instruction program with daily recreation and arts components. The intent of the program is to increase student reading progress. There will be two hours of Language Arts every day. There will also be special subject classes such as Art and Technology but the main focus will be to improve reading.

($1.25 for full pay breakfast, $2.25 for full pay lunch)

- Students may not enter the building prior to 8:55
Students may not be picked up prior to 2:50
In order to reach our reading goals in this four-week session, and to participate in the program, we are requiring all families to agree to the following rules. Refusal to agree to and comply with the following will jeopardize your child’s placement in the program.
Rules
- Students who disrupt the educational program on three occasions will be dismissed from the program immediately for the remainder of the summer
- Students who receive three behavioral slips for bus behavior will be dismissed from the program immediately for the reminder of the summer.
- Students who are in violation of the school dress code on three occasions will be dismissed from the program immediately for the remainder of the summer.
- Students with three unexcused absences will be dismissed from the program immediately for the remainder of the summer.
Families will be notified each time a student encounters one of the rules above. Some students may have to repeat their grade level over again if they are dismissed from the program.
